Durante unos meses y en exclusiva en la sede de la Fundación Universitaria ESERP en Barcelona, se puede visitar una interesante exposición de una selección de las mejores obras de arte del artista armenio Ara Mikaelian.
En la actualidad es uno de los artistas internacionales de más éxito. Sus trabajos están en las colecciones públicas y privadas más importantes del mundo.
Mikaelian nació en Ereván (Armenia) el año 1965, hijo de padre poeta y periodista y de madre psicóloga y pedagoga. Empezó a pintar a la temprana edad de dos años y sus padres, viendo su capacidad e interés hacia la pintura, promovieron su educación y motivaron la evolución y desarrollo de su extraordinario talento.
Durante los años 1971 y 1972, tuvo lugar su primera exposición con carácter individual, compuesta por veinticinco trabajos realizados entre los 2 y los 7 años de edad en la Exposición Nacional de los Logros de la antigua URSS (VDNJ) en Moscú. Posteriormente presentó otras exposiciones en Moscú y San Petersburgo.

Mikaelian was born in 1965 in Yerevan (Armenia), son of a poet and journalist mother and a psychologist and an educator. He began to paint at the age of two years and his parents, seeing his ability and interest in the painting, promoted his education and motivated the evolution and development of his extraordinary talent.
During the years 1971 and 1972, he held his first exhibition on an individual basis, consisting of twenty-five works carried out between the two and seven years of age in the national exhibition of the achievements of the former USSR (VDNKH) in Moscow. He later presented other exhibitions in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
