El pasado 18 de octubre en el Salón de Actos de la sede de ESERP Business School en Barcelona, con una gran asistencia de público, tuvo lugar una interesante conferencia a cargo del Director del Consejo Catalán del Deporte, Don Albert Marco quién hizo un recorrido a lo largo de la historia del amplio tejido deportivo catalán, que lo ha convertido en un referente internacional tanto por la concentración de éxitos deportivos como por la cantidad de practicantes en un territorio de apenas 32 kilómetros cuadrados y algo más de 7.500.000 de habitantes.
The last 18th of October was held a very interesting speech, guided by the director of Catalan Sports Council, Mr. Alberto Marco.
The conference, were lots of people attended, was celebrated in the Auditorium of ESSERP Business School in Barcelona.
Mr. Alberto Marco, has become an international person of reference in the sports world because of the long list of awards he´s achieved and the quantity of people, who practise sport in a place of 12.35 square miles with a bit more of 7.500.000 residents. It was an interesting tour along Catalan Sport history, in his speech.
Durante la conferencia además comentó los principales indicadores del sistema deportivo catalán así como la estructura organizativa del mismo y, finalmente, se abordaron los retos de futuro del sistema deportivo catalán en un entorno global, cambiante e inmerso en una situación de crisis económica y financiera internacional.
During his speech, Mr. Alberto Marco commented the most important indicators in the Catalan Sports System and the organizational structure of it, pointing out the challengers for the future in the Catalan Sports System in a global environment, changing and immersed in an economic and financial crisis.
